Reebok CrossFit Games 2016 results have been announced. Katrin Davesdottir and Mat Fraser won. Mat Fraser is the reigning champion. Davidsdottir has the title from 2015. Davidsdottir appeared in the Games for the third consecutive time, as well as her third overall win. Fraser is the reigning champion after consecutive second-place finishes in 2014 and 2015.

Katrin Tatja Davidsdottir won the Reebok CrossFit Games 2016. She also took home individual woman category. Previously named the fittest woman on earth, Davidsdottir is a track and gymnastics athlete who competed at the 2012 Olympics. She also finished 24th at the 2013 competition. Other competitors in the competition included American athletes Tia-Clair Toomey and Matt Fraser. Kristi Eramo from CrossFit was also eighth in her first appearance at these games.

Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an Icelander, was injured in her back at the 2009 Crossfit Games. She was instantly recognized as an athlete.
