
CrossFit Games 2021 is nearing and many participants are excited. Apart from the usual men's and ladies' competitions, there will be some women's events. The competition for women
The 2021 Crossfit Games' women's competition started this morning with the swim race. Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr and Jonne Koski won in the first event. After maintaining her lead throughout competition, Koski was declared the overall winner. Tall and Eramo O'Connell finished second and third, respectively. It was the first Games women's event and the women hoped to complete it.
The women's contest is filled with high-level athletes. The field includes nine athletes. One of them is a 19-year old powerhouse, who won the Australian competition last year. Other contenders are Australian athlete Kara Saunders, who finished second in Australia and eleventh worldwide in 2020. Another rising star is Andrea Nisler, who competed in the team division in 2018 and finished third in the United States and fifteenth overall in 2020. Aside from these athletes, the Women’s competition will also include a newcomer, Sara Sigmundsdottir, an Icelandan competitor, who won first place at the World Crossfit Games earlier.
Pegboard contest
Pegboard contest at Crossfit Games 2121 was a new concept. It was added to Crossfit Games' summer Olympic program alongside double-unders & dumbbell overhead Squats. Toomey-Orr, who won 30 games events, holds the record of most wins in one Games event. Sager won Event 11 and became the Games' third winner. There were several ties in the contest, but Toomey-Orr's dominance was not enough to keep him out of the win.

CrossFit Games athletes train by focusing on ten core physical skills: strength, flexibility and speed. The Pegboard contest tests a competitor's grip strength and coordination. Cutting system
