CrossFit Games 2021 is nearing and many participants are excited. Apart from the usual men's and ladies' competitions, there will be some women's events. We're all familiar with the Reebok's equipment, the Pegboard contest, and the Cutting system. But what do we know about the womens' competition? Keep reading to find the answer! Competition for women

This morning, the women's competition began at the 2021 Crossfit Games with the swim event. Jonne Koski was the winner in the first race. Tia Clair Toomey Orr was also victorious. Koski was the overall champion after she maintained her lead throughout. Tall and Eramoo O'Connell came in second and third, respectively. It was the first Games for women, and the women's side hoped to complete the podium.

The field is full of top-level athletes in the women's competition. The field features nine athletes, including a 19 year-old Australian powerhouse who won this competition last year. Kara Saunders of Australia, who was second in Australia and eleventh in the world in 2020, are also contenders. Andrea Nisler was also a rising star. In 2018, she competed in team division and came in third in the United States. She finished fifteenth in 2020. These athletes will be joined by Sara Sigmundsdottir from Iceland, who was awarded the first place medal at the World Crossfit Games earlier in the year.

Pegboard contest

Pegboard is a contest that tests competitor's grip strength as well as coordination. A scale is used to determine the strength and coordination of competitors. Cutting system

CrossFit Games uses a cutting system to judge individual competition. The cuts are not as severe as those used in past Games but they are still very different. The competition has 15 individual events. Therefore, it's likely that the first cut of 30 athletes will occur after the seventh or eight event. Another question remains: how will CrossFit adjust the points spread following cuts? The scoring table used during the 2019 games was almost identical to that used in 2021. It is likely that this will continue.

This year's CrossFit Games field includes 236 athletes. It is the largest ever. The first six events result in major cuts. The field is reduced down to 75 athletes. The top thirty athletes then compete in a sprint team to determine the top 10. The top 20 competitors then compete for the remaining six events. Castro's system has been criticized by veterans Games athletes who feel that the cuts are too significant.

Reebok equipment

Reebok has announced new sports shoes, clothing, and other equipment for the CrossFit Games. The Nano X1 is the new shoe. They can be used for multiple fitness goals. Reebok has billed this shoe as "the shoe of fitness," but it actually feels more like a traditional training shoe. The shoe's upper is made from DuPont's Kevlar material, which promotes durability and breathability. The shoe's responsiveness can be enhanced by its firm midsole and RopePro Tech.

The company will no more refer to itself by the name "Reebok Fitness Games", as it does right now.
